Coming from the M20 motorway take junction 7 off signposted sheerness A249 (Sittingbourne)
Once you have joined the A249 get immediately into your right hand lane. After half a mile there is a slip road off to the right signposted DETLING – take this slip road and cross the dual carriage way. DO NOT follow your sat nav as it will take you the wrong side of the A249 onto the other side of the Pilgrims Way in Detling.
Once across the dual carriage way follow the road round up through Detling village past the church on your left and continue up the hill.
There is a pub at the top of the hill called ‘The Cock Horse’ this will be on your left hand side – directly opposite the front of this pub on your right hand side is the turning for the Pilgrims Way signposted THURNHAM 1mile. Take this right hand turning, follow the road for a mile and a half and the Black Horse Inn is located on your right hand side.
The reception office is located at the bottom of the main car park, please do not bring your luggage in with you to check in as you will need to move you car to the car park closest to the annex of rooms you will be staying in.
Reception office opening times are Monday – Friday 7am-8pm Saturday 8am-7pm and Sunday 8am-12pm – any guests checking in after these times are required to collect their key from the bar area where are member of staff can direct you down to your room, once again please do not take your luggage into the pub.
