The PILGRIM SUITE Christmas Menu


A large private room suitable for parties of 40-70 guests, an ideal venue for Christmas or family parties. The menu runs throughout the month of December

Please choose two starters, two main courses and two desserts (plus vegetarian options)



Curried sweet potato soup with fennel seed loaf

Duck liver parfait served with sticky orange compote and a slice of brown bread

Tomato and buffalo mozzarella salad with pesto basil dressing

Smoked salmon with horseradish cream


Roast breast of turkey stuffed with brown meat and sage and onion stuffing served with a chipolata and bacon, goose fat roasted potatoes and Yorkshire pudding

8 hour braised blade of beef with squash puree, whole salt baked carrots, dark beer sauce and goose fat roasted potatoes

Fillet of salmon with tarragon butter served with celeriac mashed potatoes

Roasted vegetable tagine with a lemon and herb cous cous and a saffron infused hummus

All of the above will be served with mashed carrot and swede with cracked black pepper, Brussel sprouts, honey roasted parsnips and buttered broccoli


Traditional Christmas pudding with brandy sauce

Sticky toffee pudding with caramel popcorn and vanilla ice cream

Strawberry shortcake and cream

Chocolate torte with orange reduction and clotted cream
